PSAC Grade 6 History & Geography — Free Practice Questions

Grade 6 PSAC history and geography: settlers and slavery, independence, cultural heritage, land use and map skills.

This is the subject where the syllabus is about the child's own country, and it asks for more than dates. The arrival of settlers, slavery and indenture, and the road to independence are taught as causes and consequences, so the questions ask why a thing happened and what followed from it.

The geography half is practical. Land use across Mauritius and Rodrigues, the natural hazards of a cyclone season, and map skills — reading a scale, a direction, a symbol — are assessed as things a child does on a map rather than facts they recite about one.
