Every parent account on Nou Klass has a dashboard showing which chapters each child has mastered, which ones they are still getting wrong, how long they practised and how many days in a row they have kept going. Progress is recorded per question rather than per session, so a weak sub-topic is visible by name instead of as an overall score. Parents can also set a daily goal, cap the difficulty level and receive a weekly summary by email.

The NCE (National Certificate of Education) is the Mauritian examination taken at the end of Grade 9, three years after the PSAC at the end of Grade 6. On Nou Klass the difference is structural, not just harder questions: Grade 9 Science is split into Biology, Chemistry and Physics as three separate subjects with separate papers, and subjects such as ICT and Social & Modern Studies appear that have no PSAC equivalent.
